David looks after our Miscanthus domestic fuel range and has big ideas about building a national presence for the brand. He has joined us at a pivotal time, with the launch of the 100% Natural BBQ Briquettes and Firestarters in four key Waitrose stores.
“The Waitrose launch is an exciting milestone for the domestic fuels and we’re pulling out all the stops to grow sales in Waitrose and beyond,” says David.
David’s day to day focus is to build the brand and the sales for our current products, which are the Miscanthus BBQ Briquettes, Firestarters and Fire Logs. “We’re building a strong brand identity and we’re one step ahead, with new products already in the pipeline.
“Interest is flooding in and we’ve received fantastic feedback from our stockists and customers, putting us in a strong position going forward,” he says.
David’s background is rooted in farming and marketing and he has an HND in agricultural engineering and business and marketing. Previous jobs have included horticultural marketing, engineering sales account management, packaging brand management for major retailers and new product development…the perfect practical and creative mix for developing a unique positioning for our Miscanthus BBQ Briquettes, Fire Logs and Firestarters.
